🌿 Natural Science Played. Milton Lumbergh Answered.
by Dave, Founder of the Milton Lumbergh Association
I didn’t build Milton Lumbergh because of Rush. But I’ve spent enough time inside systems that flattened people to recognize when a band was pointing at the same thing.
“A mechanized world out of hand.”
That line hits differently when you've watched compassion get flagged as inefficiency. What Rush described, Milton Lumbergh quietly sets out to reverse.
Most of the elements are in place—rotational mentorship, multilingual helpdesks, outreach shaped by lived experience, even plumbing with dignity. The building will come later. We’re waiting on two things: confirmation of charitable status and a Chief Development Officer who can face outward, speak to sponsors, and make the case.
Rush didn’t offer solutions. They just reminded us to pay attention.
“Forming a world, a state of integrity / Sensitive, open, and strong.”
Milton Lumbergh isn’t quoting the song. We’re just listening—and sketching something that answers back.
If any of this resonates, now’s a good time to show support. Share the vision, spread the word, or make a donation to help build a space that actually listens. While we wait for the final pieces to fall into place, that support means a lot.
If you'd like a version prepped for outreach or a visual element added, I’ve got you. This one's ready to fly.
